It was more than 2-4 Police Officer involved. This was a big case. Abner Louima's family flew in from Africa; and they were back and forth in court. It was a very rocky road for him and his family and justice was still not served. I heard one or two of the Police officer is a firefighter. When they say that these Police Officer are going to jail, sometimes they are somewhere in another state or country living it up. He got very little money for his pain and sufferings. Abner Louima was arrested (I don't remember what it was fo); but it wasn't anything he did. On the way to the jailhouse, he was beaten and when he was in the police custody, they sexually abused him and sodomized him by pushing a broom stick in his rectum. The main Police got 20-30 yrs (I think); and another got 4yrs (I think). They want to let him out if he agreed to stop appeal his case. He got some money; not the amount he sued for .
